Kettle Falls Robotics
RoboPups/Dogs
Our competitive middle school program competes in FLL (FIRST Lego League) and starts meeting at the end of August and finishes the season in January. The team typically meets twice a week with a few weekend practices thrown in. Each year is a new game where the team builds and programs a brand-new robot to compete against other teams in the region.
Canine Crusaders
The high school robotics program meets in the evenings and on weekends during the competitive season from January through April. Each year the team builds, test, drives and programs a brand-new robot built from stock aluminum, steel and composite materials. The students have a chance to learn manufacturing, design, electronics, wiring, programming and much, much more.
After School Robotics Club
From February to May, we meet afterschool one day a week from 2:45-4:30. The kids get in small groups and are given an engineering challenge. They then have 3-4 weeks to build the best Lego robot possible. At the end of that time, we have a small in-house competition. The club is for 5th to 8th graders.
